How long do repairs take? Can you do them while I wait?

The average timeline for standard repairs is around 3-5 business days. The jobs are completed in the order they are received and/or when all parts needed to complete the repair are received.

I do not rush repairs as I believe rushing = errors and the last thing I want is for your piece that is already in need of TLC, to not get the proper attention.


Do you appraise jewelry? What is the difference between an evaluation and an Insurance appraisal?

Yes, I do! When you come in we can determine whether it is best to have the jewelry appraised officially for insurance or whether a simple evaluation will do. The difference is that your insurance appraisal will be written in an official capacity and can be used in court and/or for insurance in case the peice ever needs to be repaired or replaced. A jewelry evaluation is typically done while you wait in the shop. I will write down on a notecard the pertinent information on your piece and give you an approximate idea on grade, quality and metal type as well as an approximate retail value. Jewelry evaluation is charged by the hour and appraisals depend on the type/complexity of jewelry being written up.


Returns or exchanges policy

Exchanges gladly accepted on inventory purchased in store within 14 days. No returns. No exchanges on special orders, custom pieces or pieces that have been modified in any way- including pieces being resized. If you are purchasing a piece as a gift - say for the upcoming holiday season, I recommend buying the piece as is and sizing or changing the length after it is gifted to avoid any issues later on if the item does need to be exchanged. I have extended the exchange policy for holiday sales from December 1st - can be exchanged if brought back in brand new condition by January 15th, 2022.
