Return and exchange policy
Exchanges gladly accepted on inventory purchased in store within 14 days.
No returns.
No exchanges on special orders, custom pieces or pieces that have been modified in any way- including pieces being resized. If you are purchasing a piece as a gift - say for the upcoming holiday season, I recommend buying the piece as is and sizing or changing the length after it is gifted to avoid any issues later on if the item does need to be exchanged.
Custom design deposits
Custom design deposits are nonrefundable, even if the appointment is missed or canceled. You may reschedule once without losing the deposit.
A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve an in-studio custom design appointment and place your project into our workflow.
This deposit is applied toward your final project total.
If your booking link does not collect the deposit automatically, an invoice will be sent directly after your phone/Zoom consult. The appointment is not secured until the deposit is paid.
Rescheduling and Cancellations
Life happens — we get it!
We ask for 48 hours' notice to reschedule any appointment.
Late Arrivals
Please try to arrive on time so we can give you the full Gold Dust experience.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled so we don’t overlap with other clients.
Repairs and Appraisals
Repairs and appraisal appointments are available Thursdays only.
Payment for appraisals is due at booking.
Repair estimates are given during your drop-off appointment, and payment is collected at pick-up.
Project Timelines
Custom jewelry typically takes 8–12 weeks depending on complexity, stone sourcing, and seasonal workflow.
Holiday seasons and high-volume months may extend this timeline. We’ll communicate clearly along the way.
Client-Supplied Stones & Metals
We are happy to work with your heirloom materials, but we ask clients to be aware:
Stones may require testing and inspection
Some heirlooms carry risk due to age, wear, or unknown treatments
Re-melting heirloom metal can result in weight loss or porosity
We’ll review all materials with you before getting started!
Communication
To give each project proper attention, communication happens during scheduled appointments or via text/email. We will respond as soon as possible, please allow 48 hours for replies.
Pick-Ups
Pick-ups are available Fridays and Saturdays.
We’ll walk through care, cleaning, and inspection schedules when you pick up your piece
